Classical saxophone
Solo repertoire and classical performance at OCSA have made careful preparation visible: a phrase is revised in small decisions long before it reaches a stage.
Classical · jazz · chamber music
Music has been a defining part of my education: in practice rooms, on stage at OCSA, inside large ensembles, with the Caelum Quartet, and while traveling with other musicians.

Three ways of listening
These notes are a first draft. Repertoire, conductors, venues, and dates will be added only after they are confirmed.
Solo repertoire and classical performance at OCSA have made careful preparation visible: a phrase is revised in small decisions long before it reaches a stage.
In the Ambassador Jazz Orchestra and Pacific Symphony Youth Wind Ensemble, listening is an active part of playing—balance, timing, and response happen across the group.
With the Caelum Quartet, the conversation becomes more exposed. Each player has to shape an individual line while continually adjusting to the others.
Practice room / backstage
Rehearsal is where an ensemble learns what it can rely on. Entrances become shared, the shape of a piece becomes clearer, and mistakes become useful information instead of final outcomes.
The photographs in this section are meant to show that work—not only the finished concert.
